If you screw up, it takes Chase seconds to debit your account an overdraft fee. If they screw up and take out not one but two mortgage payments, it takes at lot of calls, faxed paperwork, and 7-10 days for you to get your money back.
Thinking of trying to short-sell your property with a Chase mortgage, yea, don’t bother.
Oh Chase, do you really have to hire people that don’t have a clue what they are talking about?
It is clear, at least to me, from all the stories I see, Chase’s bad customer service is not isolated incidents, it is an epidemic. This customer lost their credit card and someone used it to make some fraudulent purchases. Chase refused their claim that the charges were fraud and won’t tell them why.
During the recent snowstorm in NYC, one customer reports the deli was open, so was the pizza place, but Chase somehow couldn’t drag its doors open for customers.
Sometimes (much of the time) Chase just can’t get the details right. Like this case where someone asked to have a debit card express overnighted to them and it was sent by regular mail instead? That’s pretty basic stuff that a bank should have down.
Chase credit card fraud detection gone wild and things everything is fraud? Chase’s solution, call them every time you are about to use your card. Yea, that’s actually what they said.
Here is something we all knew: Chase’s score dropped quite a bit in the most recent annual customer service satisfaction survey.
