This is the first such change in policy for WaMu customers from Chase I've heard about, and it isn't pretty.

Apparently, if you have a WaMu credit card and are set up to make an automatic payment to it montly, previously you could pay any amount. Now, under Chase's new policy, if you try to make an automated payment for anything less than the full balance, it will only actually make a payment for the minimum amount due.

This is an obvious attempt by Chase to make more money off of fees. I had hoped that Chase would show WaMu customers that it was a better bank than WaMu and things would get better under Chase, but if this new policy is any indication, that is not likely the case. (article)
