I'm on my way to file in small claims court against wamu for hitting me with 24 overdraft fees at $34 a pop over the course of 2 weeks. No phone calls or emails, and my first letter letting me know the situation came only a week ago. When I orginially opened my account I stated at my branch and on the 1-800 number that i never wanted my account to be able to be overdrawn and that if funds aren't available the card should be declined. They said they did it as a courtesy. I believe the proper term for what they did is 'loan sharking'. After I help to bail them out they give thanks by screwing me as hard as and for as long as they can. Now they have not only taken my unemployment for the last 3 weeks but have also taken money from my savings account. GOD I HATE THEM SO MUCH! |
