I really didn’t have a problem with the WAMU/Chase transition until this month when my checking account received 4 overdraft charges at $33 each. My old WAMU account had overdraft protection and an email notification that my account had fallen below a balance of $100. Chase claims they sent me a letter stating that both protections had been dropped from my account. If they did, I guess I didn’t read it. Many years ago I had a similar problem at WAMU, I went to the branch to explain what happened and they dropped the charges. When I asked Chase to do the same they told me to go to hell. I have four accounts with Chase. I’m getting rid of all of them.
