Non-refundable $750 fee
If you are going to refinance with Chase, beware, their $750 application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE, even if they reject your application or your refinance takes TEN MONTHS, like it did for this couple. To be fair, the other couple in the story did manage to pester Chase to return their fee but I think contacting the media had something to do with it.
